FALLFREAKS is my little web store for skydivers, wannabe skydivers, skydiving groupies, B.A.S.E. jumpers and anyone interested in the sport/activity/pasttime of flinging their *sses from any place high up while attached to colorful air mattresses. As of this writing I'm still a brand new skydiver with twenty-six jumps and a staggering two minutes of total freefall time. But the bug has definitely bit me. I'm also a graphic designer by profession and after doing a thorough search of the web I came to the conclusion that there's not a LOT of really cool skydiving T-shirt designs out there. We've all seen the "why jump out of a perfectly good airplane...", "if at first you don't succeed...", "I'd rather be skydiving..." etc. stuff, but I was looking for something with a bit more va-va-voom. I couldn't find it, so I decided too design my own. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS!!! I will be adding new designs and products on a very regular basis, so check back often. And please spread the good word if you like what you see. Advertising is expensive, and as a starving artist (who's also becoming a starving skydiver, so I'm REALLY hungry...) I'll need all the exposure and word-of-mouth that I can get. I am also very much open to suggestions, ideas, and requests. If there are any skydiving clubs and groups out there who want something a little different (and dare I say a little better) than what they currently have, feel free to get in touch with me. The same goes for the designing of ads, flyers, posters and any other skydive-related paraphernalia. For that purpose I have included a "Leave me a message" section on this website. (Why not an email address or phone number? Spam, people. Spam.) You will also notice that this website is effectively two websites: a shop "window" and a shop "store" so to speak. The reason for that is that I wanted to take advantage of new print-on-demand technology, and to keep my overheads as low as possible. And the company who prints and distributes my products also does a far better job than what I would have been able to do myself. | |
